Our multi-camera object tracking tracks an individual/vehicle using multiple cameras, i.e., the identity of the person/vehicle has to be retrieved from the second camera based on the information obtained from the first camera. Through tracking the object trajectory, it is possible to track the moving path of a person from one point to another.
Our aim is to develop drones that detect and track objects, in particular, persons and vehicles both during day and night with the aid of optical/infrared sensors
As we know, monitoring of telephone calls and handwritten letters is expensive and labor intensive. Automation of these tasks can reduce the staffing requirement, reliance on human vigilance and allowing quick response, possibility of an insider sabotaging the surveillance.
